The 7x7 also stands for what you see in the title of this wire rope. This wire rope is galvanized and consists of six galvanized strands of seven steel wires, twisted crosswise on the right around one galvanized strand of seven steel wires. We also sell wire ropes where the galvanized strands are wrapped around a different number.
So, other steel wires than this 7x7 steel wire. While we often offer many different types of steel wire and chains in terms of thickness, we only offer two different types of steel wire. The thickness of both steel wires we offer is 1.5 millimeters. Only the length of the two steel wires differs. One steel wire is 50 meters long, while the other is a whopping 100 meters.
