Whether it will ever happen, we don't know, of course, but imagine the following situation: you've had a wonderful time on a boat with friends and you feel the need to take a break. Then you sail to a jetty near a harbor, you've managed to get your boat close to the jetty, and then you look at the jetty and see nothing to tie your boat to. In our opinion, this isn't a good jetty. A jetty always needs points where you can moor and tie off the rope. These are also called bollards, and these beautiful bollards are available here.
What can I use stainless steel bollards for?
In principle, both bollards and cleats can be attached to both jetties and boats, but there's usually a clear distinction: bollards belong on jetties, and cleats belong on boats. This is mainly because bollards are built sturdier and larger, and you also find truly enormous bollards on construction sites (we don't offer those, as they're no longer considered hardware).
